Where did we come from?

Hello there. I'm Kevin Wilde, owner of Wild Yonder Cyclery.  

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City and its surrounding wilderness. I was lucky enough to be introduced to the sweet, sweet sensation of riding singletrack on a mountain bike at the age of 15.  Ever since, riding has been a habit, a passion, an addiction, and a fever. 

I got my start as a mechanic at Guthrie Bicycles almost 25 years ago.  Since then, I've had the pleasure of working for a few other local shops in various roles, and spent 10 years at Specialized Bicycles. I've been surrounded by dedicated and brilliant co-workers, and owe all of them for the countless laughs and lessons learned. 

I've dedicated my professional career to helping riders get the best out of each ride, and mentored other professionals to do the same.
